April 29th & 30th at the Cambridge Hotel & Conference Centre in Red Deer!

Friday, April 29, 2022
– 3:30 – 6 PM – Registration
– Supper on your own
– 6:30 PM – Doors open for no-host social
– 7 PM – Call to Order, Welcome, Protocol, Rules of Convention, Business Session 1 –
including various speakers, followed by fun, western-themed activities and frivolities. Come
dressed in your western duds!
– Meet 3rd International Vice President Fabricio Oliveira and his spouse Amariles, from Brazil

Saturday, April 30, 2022
– 7:30 – 9:30 AM – Registration
– 9 AM – Call to order followed by Business Session 2 – business casual or Lions logo’d attire
– Saturday will consist of presentations, memorial, speakers and testimonials on a variety of
topics, awards, service projects and much more throughout the day
– 6 PM – No-host bar
– 7 PM – Grand March, Banquet and International Guest speaker, Awards, etc.
(whites/business dress/semi formal)

We are encouraging clubs to donate a new item for the silent auction – proceeds to support Lions
Foundation of Canada Dog Guides.

Refreshment Break sponsorship is still being accepted for morning or afternoon sessions.

COVID Protocol
Your comfort and safety are our primary concern. We encourage everyone to wear their mask if this
is your comfort level; however, it is not a requirement. Proof of vaccination is not required, and we
are following the hotel and AHS protocols. Our committee is continually monitoring the situation.
