Donations support the purchase of vision equipment at the Eye Institute of Alberta at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, and coordinated through the District C-1 Lions Eye Research Fund. - Jack Dobush Fellowship
This Fellowship was established to honor Past International Director Dr. Jack DoBush for his many years of Lions service.
Donations support Diabetes Research at the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary; and supplies for the underprivileged children’s diabetic programs in Edmonton and Calgary, through the Lions of Alberta Foundation. - Dr. Gregory Powell Fellowship
Donations support the training of students at the STARS Critical Care & Transport Medicine Academy by providing bursaries for students enrolled in their program. - Bill Webber Fellowship
Donations support the Sight Fund, which includes the Sight Bursary, Sight Grant, and provides the ability to purchase vision equipment at major centres in southern Alberta, with new projects being considered. - Judge Brian Stevenson Fellowship
